Organizational Effectiveness & Team Development

Helping teams perform at their highest level.

Goose Creek designs and delivers team development programs, C-Suite development experiences, and facilitated sessions that build the collective capacity organizations need to execute on their strategy and sustain high performance.

Teams don't develop by accident. They develop by design.

The most effective organizations invest deliberately in the development of their teams — not just their individual leaders. Goose Creek's organizational effectiveness and team development services are built on the premise that collective performance is the product of shared self-awareness, deliberate practice, and a development architecture tailored to the team's specific context and goals.

We bring together executive coaching, group facilitation, validated personality and competency assessments, and custom program design to create experiences that move teams — not just inform them.

What we do.

Our organizational effectiveness and team development services can be delivered as standalone engagements or integrated into a comprehensive, multi-phase program tailored to your team's goals.

Team Development Sessions

Structured team development experiences that build shared self-awareness, strengthen trust, and develop the interpersonal and collective skills teams need to perform at their highest level. Sessions are customized to the team's composition, dynamics, and goals.

Facilitation & Workshops

Expert facilitation for leadership team workshops, strategic planning sessions, team offsites, and group learning experiences. We design and lead sessions that surface insight, build alignment, and generate concrete, actionable outcomes participants can act on immediately.

C-Suite Development Programs

Comprehensive development programs for executive leadership teams — combining individual coaching, team sessions, Hogan and Korn Ferry assessment debriefs, and facilitated retreats to build the collective capacity of the organization's most senior leaders.

Custom Leadership & Team Programs

Multi-phase development programs built from the ground up around your organization's strategy, culture, and people. Programs can span weeks or months and typically integrate coaching, facilitated workshops, assessment debriefs, and structured capstone experiences.

High-Potential & Emerging Leader Programs

Structured group development programs for leaders identified for expanded responsibility — accelerating their readiness, building peer cohort relationships, and ensuring the organization has the pipeline it needs for the future.

Group Coaching

Facilitated group coaching for cohorts of leaders at similar levels or navigating similar challenges — combining the efficiency of group learning with the depth of a coaching conversation to drive individual and collective development.

Team Coaching

Structured coaching engagements with intact teams — helping them develop shared awareness, strengthen collective dynamics, and build the relational capacity that drives sustained high performance. Unlike team training, team coaching is an ongoing, iterative process that meets the team where it is and develops it over time.

Organizational Culture

Assessment-driven culture diagnostics and targeted interventions that help organizations understand where they are, where they want to go, and what it will take to close the gap — using validated tools like the Denison Organizational Culture Survey to link culture directly to performance outcomes.

Competency Modeling

Goose Creek helps organizations build the competency frameworks that anchor their talent strategy — from selection and development to succession planning and performance management. We offer three approaches depending on your organization's needs: fully custom competency models built from the ground up around your strategy and culture; the Hogan Competency Model, which links competencies directly to Hogan's personality science; or, for organizations already using Korn Ferry IP, integration with the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect — a framework our practitioners are certified to use and apply.

Assessment-Driven Development

Every Goose Creek team and organizational development engagement is anchored in validated, research-backed assessment tools — including Hogan, Korn Ferry, Denison, and others. We use assessment data not as a standalone event but as the foundation for team sessions, facilitation, and development planning. Our proprietary Integrated Leadership Profile synthesizes data across multiple instruments into a single, actionable portrait of individual and collective leadership.

New Leader Onboarding Assessment & Coaching

The first 90 days in a new role are the highest-risk period in any leader's tenure — and the most underdeveloped. Goose Creek's New Leader Onboarding Assessment and Coaching service uses assessment, organizaitonal context, job role requirements ,and structured, tailored coaching to accelerate a new leader's effectiveness and reduce the risk.

Organizational Culture & Engagement

Goose Creek offers the full Denison suite for measuring and developing organizational culture — including the Denison Organizational Culture Survey, Culture Leadership Potential Report, and Culture 360. We also offer two new standalone Denison tools: the Workplace Safety Survey, which measures the cultural drivers of safety climate and behavior, and the Engagement & Commitment Survey, which assesses the degree to which employees are engaged, committed, and motivated to contribute to organizational goals.

Change Readiness & Culture Diagnostics

Through our partnership with PivotPoint, Goose Creek offers three specialized tools for measuring organizational readiness and response to change. The Change Readiness Diagnostic measures an organization's capacity to absorb and sustain change. Change Response Styles identifies how individuals and groups characteristically respond to change initiatives. Culture CURV assesses the cultural patterns that either accelerate or impede organizational transformation.

Executive team development that goes beyond individual coaching.

The performance of a C-Suite is not just the sum of its individual leaders — it is a product of how those leaders function as a collective. Goose Creek's C-Suite development programs are designed to develop both the individual executive and the team, building the shared awareness and relational capacity that drives organizational performance.

Our C-Suite programs integrate individual Hogan and Korn Ferry assessment debriefs, one-on-one executive coaching, facilitated team sessions, and structured retreats — creating a layered development experience that produces lasting change at both the individual and collective level.

02

03

Team Sessions

Facilitated team development sessions build shared awareness of collective dynamics, strengths, and development opportunities.

04

Retreat & Integration

A structured retreat integrates individual and team development, aligning the executive team around strategy, culture, and shared commitments.

Team Effectiveness Workshop

A science-based model for what actually makes teams work.

Most team development programs focus on cohesion — getting people to like each other and work well together. Hogan's meta-analytic research tells a different story. In the wake of the replication crisis, researchers found that the field has dramatically overindexed on cohesion as a predictor of team performance. What actually drives team effectiveness comes down to five distinct factors — and Goose Creek has built a workshop experience around them.

The replication crisis revealed that much of what we believed about team cohesion and performance was overstated. Hogan's meta-analytic research identified the factors that consistently predict team effectiveness across contexts — moving the field from feel-good cohesion building to evidence-based team development.

Trust The foundation of team effectiveness — the confidence that teammates will follow through, act with integrity, and support one another when it counts.
Norms The explicit and implicit rules that govern how the team operates — across three distinct dimensions.
Interpersonal Compositional Operational
Results Focus The degree to which the team is oriented toward outcomes — holding itself accountable for performance and prioritizing collective results over individual comfort.
Mission Alignment Shared clarity and commitment to what the team exists to do — ensuring every member understands and is invested in the team's purpose and direction.
Strategic Adaptability The team's capacity to read its environment, adjust its approach, and sustain high performance even as conditions, priorities, and demands evolve.
1 Day Team Effectiveness Workshop — Essentials A focused single-day session that introduces the five-factor model, surfaces the team's strengths and development areas using Hogan data, and produces a shared action plan. Available virtually and in-person.
2 Days Team Effectiveness Workshop — Standard A deeper two-day engagement that allows for fuller exploration of each factor, more time with individual and team Hogan data, and richer facilitated discussion. Recommended for teams facing significant transitions or performance challenges.
5 Days Team Effectiveness Workshop — Intensive A comprehensive five-day program for teams that want to do transformational work — combining deep assessment integration, extended facilitation, individual coaching, and structured follow-through planning.
How It Works Every workshop begins before the workshop itself. Goose Creek uses each participant's Hogan assessment data and structured discovery to understand what the team will find easy and what it will find hard across each of the five factors — then customizes the workshop to focus on the areas of greatest developmental leverage for that specific team. No two workshops are identical, because no two teams are identical.
All Team Effectiveness Workshops are by inquiry — contact us to discuss your team's specific needs, format preferences, and scheduling. Inquire About a Workshop →

Science-based tools that power our programs.

Every Goose Creek team development engagement is anchored in validated, research-backed assessment tools that give teams a precise, actionable picture of who they are and how they work together.

Hogan

Personality & Team Dynamics

The Hogan suite — HPI, HDS, and MVPI — reveals how individual team members show up, what drives them, and what risks may undermine collective performance. At the team level, Hogan data surfaces patterns in team dynamics that are otherwise invisible.

Korn Ferry

Leadership Competencies & Potential

Korn Ferry's suite provides industry-leading frameworks for assessing leadership competencies, learning agility, and potential — establishing a rigorous, evidence-based foundation for C-Suite and high-potential development programs.

360 Feedback

Stakeholder Perspective

Structured 360-degree feedback processes give leaders and teams a clear, multi-rater view of how their behavior is experienced by the people around them — grounding development in the realities of how others see the team.

A structured process from discovery to sustained performance.

Every Goose Creek team development engagement follows a deliberate process designed to generate insight, build alignment, and produce lasting improvement in how teams work together.

01

Discovery & Design

We meet with team leaders and stakeholders to understand the team's context, goals, dynamics, and the specific outcomes the engagement needs to produce.

02

Assessment

Team members complete validated assessments — Hogan, Korn Ferry, or 360 feedback — establishing a precise, evidence-based foundation for the development work.

03

Sessions & Facilitation

We deliver team sessions, workshops, and coaching that translate assessment insight into targeted behavioral and relational development at the individual and team level.

04

Evaluation & Sustain

We measure progress, close the engagement with a forward-looking development plan, and ensure the team has what it needs to sustain gains over time.

We work with teams across sectors and levels.
