Goose Creek Consulting is happy to introduce Victoria McKenna to our practice. Victoria is a Life and Mental Health Coach who, helps guide her clients to achieve their goals and break down any potential barriers to those goals. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in individual and group settings.
Victoria is a resident-in-counseling with a range of experience providing behavioral health services in public and private settings. She has worked as a life skills coach and mentor for a 21-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy, served as a volunteer for the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN), and provided therapy services at a Connecticut psychiatric hospital program and an outpatient clinic in a university setting. Victoria currently provides mental health therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families as a therapist for Fairfax County.
In her work as a life coach, Victoria is working to support and empower individuals to achieve their goals utilizing her experiences and education. Pulling from her various experiences Victoria works with clients to identify and accomplish personal and professional goals. Using goal-oriented strategies to increase problem solving skills, Victoria helps clients through life transitions, career changes, career development, management of emotional triggers, low motivation, development of healthy coping skills, personal development, and leadership development. Victoria enjoys working with parents, adults, teenagers, and children with academic, career, or mental health related issues.
